We all spent most of the time on Instagram either to social, staying connected to our families and friends, to get live updates of the various persons we follow.
We have been introduced by the IGTV in June 2018. But Instagram has quit the IGTV icon from the home screen of the app because not many users were using it.
The conclusion to withdraw the IGTV button from the main app is being seen as an acceptance of the poor response of the feature.

Hence, the separate icon on the top right corner of the home screen has been removed.
Instead of having more than 1 billion Instagram users, IGTV has only 7 million downloads and TikTok was downloaded 1.15 billion times globally.
Users can’t get an add revenue share like YouTube or Facebook Watch that is an open way for Instagram creators to earn money directly from their IGTV videos.
Lack of monetization can be a reason with less than stellar views like TikTok and Youtube which urge the hesitation for some creators to give time on IGTV.
Instagram also added a new feature that allows users to post IGTV videos right from the main app’s IGTV feed video uploader to enable more users to easily post long-form videos.
Earlier this month the Facebook-owned company Instagram introduced three new choices to share Boomerang Stories: Duo, SlowMo, and Echo, along with a new few features to cut their length.
These new filters are accessible in the Boomerang composer located in the Instagram Stories.
