Snap, Snapchat’s parent company, said that Snapchat+ members would soon be able to freeze their Streaks.
“We’ll also be offering a new mechanism for Snapchat+ customers to freeze their Streaks, putting things on hold when they know they’re going off the grid,” the firm stated in a blog post published on Wednesday.
“Since 2016, Snapchatters have honoured the friendships they cultivate on a daily basis with Snap Streaks with buddies near and far,” the firm explained.
Users may take a break with a new tool the site is testing will “allow you rekindle the spark and recover one Streak for free with just one tap,” according to the business.
Snap announced its new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot for the app on Monday. It uses the most recent version of OpenAI’s GPT technology.
The “My AI” chatbot is now accessible as an experimental feature for Snapchat+ subscribers and will be made available to consumers this week. Yet, some users just require a day to rest.
Yet, Snapchat may need to take a day off from the platform from time to time. Snap said that Snapchat+ users may now take a breather with a new feature that “allow you rekindle the spark and recover one Streak for free with just one swipe” (reported IANS).
