Google Play, the official app store for Android handsets, is presently unavailable to many customers around the world. The Google Play Store app and web version are both unreachable at times, and over 2,500 individuals have reported the issue on the Downdetector portal. There has been no official comment on what caused this outage as of yet.
The problem appears to be limited to a few users. While some people have no trouble accessing it, others have trouble accessing it on both mobile and online browsers. Similarly, some users can update installed apps via the “My Apps” section but cannot access the Google Play Store’s home page.
