As a non-IT student, I was not familiar with the wireframes. After some days working in an IT company, in a meeting, our team was working on developing a website.
At that time someone suggested that the wireframe stage is skipped and direct right to the designing.
This kind of point stemmed from the notion and clients won’t understand wireframes.
First, you need to sit and understand what the wireframe is. Those whoever are looking to build a website whatever its size. Wireframes are the foundation of the app on which we start building.
Usually, Wireframes come after the flow diagrams of the website and before the designing phase.
What is Wireframe
Wireframing is a way or a technique to create a website or app at the fundamental level in black and white layouts.
A wireframe is generally used to layout functionality, features, and content on a page that takes into account user journeys and user needs.
Wireframes are used in the early development process to build the essential structure of a page before visual design and content are added.
In short, you can say it is the blueprint of the app or website before starting the development and designing phase.
Importance of Wireframe
By overlooking the wireframe and simply jump into the designing and other phases could be a huge mistake.
To tell you I have collected some points on why wireframe is important
Developing either a website or an app is a process. Just as you can’t build a perfect home and or building without the blueprint the same as before doing the designing you can’t skip the wireframes.
If you are in either a big or small forest, you should have the forest map otherwise you’ll definitely lose the path no matter how much you are pro in navigation.
Same as it doesn’t matter how big is your project if you have the architecture in the form of the wireframe is good it makes your further process smooth and distraction-free.
Clarifications of the Features
In many cases, some times clients won’t able to understand what you want to say and what do you mean.
A wireframe is the only way that can help you to tell your clients what you want o say, how will the feature function, where they will live on the specific page and how useful they might actually be.
By building the wireframe for your projects it saves time in many ways for the next process of the web and app development.
Designs will be more calculated, the development team will understand what they are going to develop, and content creation becomes clever,
Wireframes should be applied early in a project to get client consent on the layout of key pages and the navigation.
This will give the project team, especially the designers, confidence for moving forward.
Wireframes will also save significant money and time in the amends and testing phase later.
