The Tensor G3 chipset will power the Google Pixel 8 Pro, which also has an updated camera system with new software features. It’s all new right here.

Undoubtedly among the most anticipated and leaked Android smartphones of the year are the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The forthcoming series uses Google’s newest microprocessor, the Tensor G3, and has an updated camera configuration.

The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will now have new features, according to a recent claim by 91mobiles. While some of the capabilities, such as Night Sight, Astrophotography Super Res Zoom, and Real Tone, are already present on Google’s current devices, the tech giant is also introducing a brand-new function dubbed “Magic Editor” that will allow users to replace one or more faces in an image using artificial intelligence.

Google also unveiled a Pro mode for aficionados, which, according to the company, is “modelled after DSLR controls,” and gives complete manual controls.

In terms of video features, the Pixel 8 series adds Video Boost, Night Sight for low-light films, and an Audio Eraser to help eliminate background noise. Additionally, the video mode improves skin tones.

Additionally, it gives specifics about the camera configuration on Pixel 8 series handsets. The Pixel 8 Pro has a triple camera arrangement with a 50MP primary sensor supported by a 48MP ultrawide lens and a 48MP telephoto camera that allows 5x magnification, in contrast to the Pixel 8, which has a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

The 10.5MP front camera on the future devices will also have fixed auto-focus and a 95-degree field of view.

Numerous Google Pixel 8 series leaks have been discovered, leaving no room for speculation. Along with improved internals, the smartphone also has a new temperature sensor and a revamped but still recognisable camera island. Google revealed last month that the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro would be released on October 4, with some reports indicating that it would be available in India the following day, on October 5.

Along with the Pixel Buds A-series and Pixel Buds Pro, the tech giant is also anticipated to unveil the Pixel Watch 2 at the event, which will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
