According to TechCrunch, users may upgrade to the current version by going to Settings, General, and then Software Update. Users will receive 31 new emojis with the new iOS 16.4 update, including a shaking face, the long-awaited pink heart, two pushing hands, a Wi-Fi sign, and more.

The new voice separation for cellular calls feature prioritises the users’ speech while reducing ambient noise around them. Before, the capability was accessible only for FaceTime conversations and other Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications, not for cellular.

Users must open the Control Center while on the call, touch on Mic Mode, and then pick Voice Isolation from the selection to activate this function. In addition, with the latest version, the firm is allowing iOS developers to send a message to users (after obtaining permission) when the user pins a web application to their Home Screen.

“This capability might be instantly valuable to some of the new Twitter rivals like Post and T2, who haven’t yet built up native iOS versions of their applications but want to alert users to crucial conversations,” according to the source.

If you were on iOS 16.3.1, the iOS 16.4 upgrade will be around 1.8GB in size. If you were on an earlier version of iOS 16, the upgrade might be up to 5GB in size. Users may either download and install these updates over a Wi-Fi network or over a 5G network.

Apple has officially made the stable iOS 16.4 update available to all eligible iPhones. This iterative version addresses certain problems and adds modest new features like 21 new emojis. The update also improves crash detection on the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it is now accessible in additional markets.
