The ‘Topic Filters’ will update dynamically as you browse through the results, similar to how they operate on mobile devices.

Google introduced ‘subject filters’ to desktop search results in December last year. It operates by recommending subjects depending on your search phrase. If you search for Pixel 7 on Google, the results will be divided into categories such as ‘details’ and’reviews’ on the right side of conventional search tabs such as shopping, photos, and news.

The capability was recently added to the desktop edition of Google Search by the internet behemoth. According to Google, themes are dynamic and change as you touch on results.

This modification will allow users of the service to accurately search and classify the information they want. Google has included a new drop-down option called ‘All filters,’ which allows users to specify filters.

That is quite useful since individuals browsing will no longer have control over which tabs display next because the algorithm will now reveal terms it believes you may be interested in. Before, the search tabs were divided into eight categories: photos, maps, shopping, news, videos, flights, books, and finance.

It is now available to English users in the United States, but it is scheduled to be expanded to additional languages and areas in the near future. Google offered the option to conduct reverse image search on Search a few months ago and said that it was working on additional capabilities for Indian users such as multi-search in Hindi and support for bilingual search results.

Google is expanding its subject filters to desktop Search results, which it first launched as part of a carousel overhaul on mobile in December last year. Also read: Google CEO Sundar Pichai promises a more powerful Bard AI chatbot in the near future.
